ASM is authorized by the U.S. Department of Education to offer Title IV funding to those who qualify. As such we have many options available to support your financial needs including Stafford loans, Pell Grants and PLUS loans. Amounts may vary based upon income and eligibility. We are also approved for VA Education benefits for those who qualify. In addition, ASM provides in house financing wherein the student must pay a minimum of $500 before classes begin. The balance due can be financed for students to pay monthly for no more than six months. Interest will be charted at the rate of 10%. We also accept all major credit cards although there is a 3$ fee for all credit card charges. Attendance Incentive Gifts
The Attendance Incentive Gifts program was created to reward and encourage students to complete all requirements in a timely manner.
- If you complete your first 300 hours by the half-way point on your student calendar (half-way point is designated by the Financial Aid Office) you will receive a Gift Certificate for a FREE professional massage at Tuscany, A Classic Italian Spa, an $115 value.
- If you complete all your hours at least 540 total hours including 65 clinics, pay all your fees, turn in all your professional massages & textbooks by your graduation date and you have not missed any of your scheduled clinics, you will receive a GIFT of an Aurora Student Massage Table package from Oakworks. The Aurora table value is $530, plus shipping and handling.
- If you complete all of your hours at least 540 hours including 65 clinics, pay all your fees, turn in all your professional massages & textbooks within time and a half (9 months from your first day of class) you will receive a GIFT of a check to cover the cost of taking your MBLEx exam, a value of $265.
- If you complete all your hours, pay all your fees, turn in all your professional massages & textbooks by your graduation date and you have not missed any of your scheduled clinics and you have missed no more than 5% of your classes at least 570 hours total including 65 clinics, you will receive a GIFT of a check to pay for your Georgia license, a $125 plus the applicable processing fee.
I understand that the above incentives are gifts and are not owed to me. I understand that I did not pay for the above-mentioned gifts with my tuition and if I do not meet the standards set above, I will not receive said gift. I understand there are NO exceptions. Attendance incentives will only be honored up to one year after your graduation date. If you do not claim the incentives within one year of graduating, you will forfeit the gifts.
Books and Supplies
Books are issued to you for your use during the period of time you are enrolled in ASM. In the event your books are damaged or defaced while in your possession (reasonable wear and tear expected); you will be charged replacement costs for the book(s). If you wish to, you may purchase the textbooks at the school’s cost, otherwise they will be returned to the school by your final exam day.
The following is a list of required materials for your program and the approximate costs based on local Walmart prices. To lower costs, students may use supplies that they already have as long as they are clean and fresh. It is recommended that sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and towels reflect a massage aesthetic.
